Nadia Sofokleous (Hamoudi) s-a născut în România și a început să cânte la clarinet la vârsta de 13 ani. Peste doar trei ani a câștigat primele premii la concursuri naționale și a fost premiată la concursul internațional Jeunesses Musicales. În anii următori mai multe premii și burse i-au fost acordate precum: Emma Contestabile a Academiei Chigiana din Italia și premiul la concursul internațional Saverio Mercadante din Italia.
După încheierea studiilor la Universitatea de Muzică din București și-a continuat studiile în Germania și Elveția. Mentori renumiți ca Antony Pay, Francois Benda, Chen Halevi și Charles Neidich și-au lăsat amprenta pe stilul ei de interpretare.
Ca și solistă a cântat de repetate ori cu orchestre precum Filarmonica din Oradea, Orchestra de Cameră a Radiodifuziunii Române și Orchestra Simfonică din Villingen Schwenningen. Totodată a fost auzită în recitaluri și concerte camerale din toată Europa.
A participat la festivaluri prestigioase precum „Fastination Klarinette“ în Berlin, Festival de Muzică de Cameră Brașov și Festivalul Enescu.
Nadia Sofokleous a fost solistă instrumentistă la Orchestra de Cameră a Radiodifuziunii Române, a colaborat la Orchestra Națională a Radiodifuziunii Române precum și la Junge Oper din Stuttgart și în prezent este solo clarinetistă la Orchestra Simfonica din Villingen Schwenningen.
Predatul fiind una din pasiunile ei cele mai mari, este șefă de catedra la suflatori la Musikakademie Villingen-Schwenningen, ține regulat cursuri de măiestrie în Germania și România. Este fondatoarea cvintetului de suflători al Academiei precum și al Ansamblului Klarisma, care cântă muzică de camera de la duo până la septet.
Nadia Sofokleous este artista oficiala a clarinetelor RZ (http://www.rericha-zlesak.cz/home) și cântă pe modelul de lux „Solo“, pe muștiuc Licostini cu ancii Gonzales GD.

Nadia Sofokleous (Hamoudi) was born in Romania and started playing the clarinet at the age of 13. After just three years she won several national competitions and the international competition Jeunesses Musicales Bucharest. More prizes and scholarships followed, like the „Emma Contestabile” of the Accademia Chigiana in Siena and second prize at the international competition „Saverio Mercadante” in Italy.
After studying at the University of Music in Bucharest, she continued her studies in Germany and Switzerland. Great mentors like Antony Pay, Francois Benda, Chen Halevi and Charles Neidich left their mark on her interpretation style.
As soloist she performed repeteadly with orchestras like Oradea Philharmonic Orchestra, Radio Chamber Orchestra Bucharest and Sinfonieorchester VS. She played recitals and chamber music concerts across whole Europe.
She also played in prestigious festivals like „Faszination Klarinette”- Berlin, Chamber Music Festival- Brasov and „Enescu Festival” – Bucharest.
Nadia Sofokleous was a solo clarinet player of the Romanian Radio Chamber Orchestra in Bucharest and collaborated with the National Radio Orchestra Bucharest as well as Junge Oper Stuttgart and she is now solo clarinetist in the symphonic orchestra of VillingenSchwenningen.
She is the leader of the woodwind section at the Musikakademie Villingen- Schwenningen where she gets to perform one of her biggest passions: teaching clarinet, she is giving regularly master classes in Germany and Romania and she is also the founder of the Woodwind Quintett of Musikakademie VS and Klarisma Ensemble that playes chamber music from duo to septet.
Nadia Sofokleous is an RZ-Artist (http://www.rericha-zlesak.cz/home) and currently plays the RZ high end model “Solo” clarinets with Licostini Mouthpiece and Gonzales GD reeds.
